We have been in the grip of a relentless drought. Nearly 12 months. Today, the rain began.
Bitterly cold, and uncomfortably wet but we rejoice in this town for the downpour and the beginning of Winter in earnest. Here I begin an exploration of the hues and tones of winter, trying to capture an essential character of the township of Clare (Clare Valley, South Australia).
